Nexus Interim Management A/S is the first specialized company in Denmark to work exclusively with Interim Management.

A few words from the CEO
CEO Göran Johansson describes the genesis of Nexus, and how the concept has been growing ever since.
I started Nexus up in 2000 after having been CEO of two different international companies for 16 years. In both these positions, I had had first-hand experience of the periodic need for adding flexible resources and supplementary competencies. Quickly, and at reasonable cost.
We were the first professional Interim Management firm in Denmark, and we see Interim Management as an important part of the manager’s toolbox, just as we see the strategic use of Interim Management as critical for competitiveness.
Times change! Certainly we were needed back in 2000, but things change constantly, and nowadays one has to be able to respond much faster than ever to maintain that competitive edge. In consequence, we work hard to continue development of our product – and we’re needed more today than ever.
Had a consultant come to me six years ago and offered me the solutions Nexus Interim Management can, I wouldn’t have believed it possible for a managing director to possess such a good product. To obtain a perfectly matching competency profile within 10 days and at a reasonable cost … I confess, I would have been sceptical.
I would probably have waited to try the product until I was in a fix, and didn’t have any other choice. But after trying the product, I would probably – like so many of our clients – quickly come back with the next assignment.

Göran Johansson, CEO
Göran Johansson started Nexus Interim Management A/S in 2000, the first of its kind in Denmark.
Göran has a great deal of top management experience: formerly CEO of Nestlé Denmark A/S (including responsibility for a number of Scandinavian business groups), and 19 years with SmithKline Beecham (now GSK), where he was in charge of Consumer Goods and OTC pharmaceuticals in Scandinavia for 10 years.
Göran also has a great deal of board experience from a number of board positions.
With a degree in Economics from the University of Stockholm, Göran has lived in Denmark since 1974.

Poul Larsen, Partner
Poul Larsen joined Nexus Interim Management A/S as a partner in 2002. He had previously worked as an independent management consultant, and before that, he was with the Carl Bro Group, including 11 years overseas in Kenya, Tanzania, Malaysia and Indonesia, where he was primarily involved with business development, sales and marketing.
When Poul returned to Denmark, he became CEO of Carl Bro International, and subsequently was appointed to Carl Bro Group’s executive management with responsibility for international activities.
Poul is a civil engineer (construction).

Bettina Graae, Researcher
Bettina Graae came to us from the world of advertising and publishing where she was a project manager for 10 years, managing the production of trade journals and being responsible for marketing assignments and office management.
Bettina has recently studied a Master’s in Rhetoric and Communications at Aarhus University. Furthermore she is the holder of a graduate diploma in business studies courses within economics, business law, management and marketing.

Klaus Thuesen, Consultant
Klaus Thuesen has many years experience with Human Resources, and was formerly Personnel Director at J. Lauritzen A/S. Before that, he held a number of management positions at Danish Steel Works Ltd. where he was in charge of education, organization and employment, respectively. Over the last few years, Klaus has had his own consultancy, specializing in executive search, career counselling and outplacement. Klaus is certified for using our different test systems.
Klaus has an M.Sc. in Commerce, with HR market economics as special subjects.

Jesper Rydgaard, Director, Horsens Branch Office
Jesper Rydgaard has worked as an independent HR consultant undertaking assignments within HR development and recruitment before joining Nexus. Prior to this Jesper Rydgaard worked as HR Director responsible for HR development at corporate level in Arla Foods. He has also been responsible for Personnel and Training in Astra Denmark.
Jesper is a trained officer from the Danish Army. In addition, he holds an MBA from Brunel University, London. Furthermore, he has completed a number of commercial post-graduate courses in Denmark as well as internationally.
